Just saw your post now. I've installed '98 on several occassions and on each installation I have never had the clipboard feature working. It's actually very simple anyway, one you've got the software loaded and you save the first file to locate things, to just save and load manually.

Fixed saving to the root directory (in cvs).

The clipboard thing is really odd. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't work, and sometimes throws an exception.

Cool, just keep in mind that the aforementioned crash only occurs when exporting as an image (.gif*) file (I know I mentioned that but I forget to say export). It won't occur if you export to a .txt to c:\ or a:\

*I haven't tried any other image format yet, so I'll just say a .gif for now.

I can't recreate any of these problems on my computer. I'll try and dig out my Windows 98 disks to set up a virtual pc for testing.

Yeah it works, and according to the MSDN those functions are also supposed to work in 98. Are you sure you're getting the image on the clipboard? A quick test is to press print screen and that menu item should be enabled.

Sorry for another brief note, but it seems it may have worked on the 1 file due to the error from the save file, which was there from running the test on the xxxx.xxxx file through non-batch mode, as it seems to also crash when processing one 1 file.

Probably just another for the Windows '98 crowd.

Yep, it definitely crashes -- or goes unresponsive -- when batch processing multiple files with a . in the file name on my Windows '98.

It seems to work on 1 file, but when it gets to the second is when the stall occurs.
